Phil Chapman is passionately committed to engaging children in musical experience, knowing that those experiences develop educational attainment as well as a preparation towards a fulfilling life experience.
He seeks to support those aims through his experience and wide ranging career as teacher, performer and above all as a conductor of orchestras and youth orchestras, and recent successful leadership of the Isle of Wight Music Service.
In times of acute change, with a prime focus of instrumental and vocal music teaching he has formulated a framework for use between Practitioners, Schools and Music Education Hub Partners, indicating the needs for accreditation for practitioners in conjunction with the responsibilities of major stakeholders and their relationship to teaching delivery.
